At Home With LTI

The day does not always fit inside 07:45–17:00.

Little Tots International is a small daycare in Tapaninvainio. The same way of being with a child — unhurried, present — can also come to your home.

Babysitting. House cleaning. Parent coaching. Home massage.

Families who already know the daycare are welcome. So is a family we have not met yet. Every booking begins with a short conversation.

Babysitting

A familiar person, in your living room.

An evening out. A Saturday morning. The first hours after a sibling arrives.

The point is not a stranger with a bag of toys. It is someone who already knows how your child falls asleep, eats, and is helped into a jacket.

We sit with children up to 9 years of age. One child, or siblings. In your home, or at an agreed place nearby.

Before someone sits with your child through LTI, they spend a whole afternoon with us first.

It is an afternoon in the daycare, not a course from another organisation. They watch how we speak before we touch, how play is left alone, how a jacket and a diaper can stay unhurried, and how an hour in a family home begins and ends. They leave with our booklet.

That does not turn them into a stranger with a certificate. It means the person at your door has already practised the same small-home way you know from daycare — in our rooms, with us in the room.

We talk with them ourselves. We do not send a person we have not met.

Write to us with the date, the hours, and the child’s age.

Sitting with a baby under one year is a different hour. Infant care — 4 to 12 months.

We only send sitters who are used to infants, and who have spent the afternoon with us. Sitting with a child under one year is professional infant care, not an ordinary evening sit. The hour is slower, the person is with a baby who cannot wait, and the price is different. We agree that price when we confirm the visit.

This hour is for any family. We begin with a conversation, so we know the sleep, the milk, and how this baby is helped — whether or not you already have a child at LTI daycare.

House cleaning

A home that can breathe again.

When the floor and the kitchen are done, you can be the parent — not the mop.

We come for a family home: kitchen, bathrooms, floors, the changing corner. Not a hotel standard. A reset you can walk back into.

Household work bought from a company may qualify for kotitalousvähennys. We can send a receipt that is clear for your tax return.

Parent coaching

A quiet hour about the week you are actually living.

Sleep. Leaving the house. A new sibling. English at home and Finnish outside. The first months after birth.

This is not therapy and it is not a lecture. It is one considered conversation — at home, or after hours at LTI — with someone who spends her days with very young children.

You bring the week. We sit with it together.

This hour is a considered conversation, not therapy. We do not use a protected Finnish title we do not hold. Before we come, we have already looked at how that person is trained to sit with a family’s real week.

Home massage

Hands in your home, on a towel you already own.

An evening after work. A Saturday when the week has not left the body. Parents who have been carrying a child — and people who have only been carrying a laptop.

We bring a proper massage table and our oils. You put out towels you already own. Clothes off as you prefer. This is well-being, not medical treatment.

If the person is a registered koulutettu hieroja, that title is on the national register. If not, the hour stays well-being only — no diagnosis, no treatment claim. We agree which of those it is when we book.

A quiet check, before anyone comes

Every booking still begins with a conversation. Behind that conversation there is a short list we do not skip.

Sitters who go to a home through LTI have completed an LTI afternoon and shown a Finnish criminal-records extract for work with children.

Parent support is not therapy. We look at training and experience before that visit. Protected Finnish titles are used only by people who hold them.

Home massage in your living room is well-being, not medical treatment. A person who uses the title “koulutettu hieroja” must be on the national register (Valvira / Lupa- ja valvontavirasto). If they are not, the hour stays a quiet well-being visit — no diagnosis, no treatment claim.

House cleaning does not need the afternoon or a child-work extract. The person still comes from LTI, and we still agree the visit first.

Insurance for an hour in your home is agreed when we book. Daycare cover with LähiTapiola does not automatically follow the child to your address. Ask, so we say only what is true for that visit.

Cleaning and many kinds of home care may qualify for kotitalousvähennys. Massage is different. If you are unsure, check vero.fi or ask us before we come.

How it works

  1. Send a short message — which service, which day, who is in the home.
  2. We reply personally. If we can take the visit, we agree the time and what the hour will hold.
  3. You receive a simple confirmation.
  4. You pay after the visit. If you want several visits in advance, we can agree that when we talk — a set of hours, paid in full or in installment, instead of one visit at a time.

We come to homes in Helsinki, Vantaa and Kerava.

Home visits are separate from a daycare place. A child does not need to be enrolled with us. Families who already know LTI are welcome to start here.
